Erasmus +

Welcoming week

National University of Music Bucharest is looking forward to welcoming its newcomers, national and international, during the 1st week of October.

The opening of the academic year is a big event that gathers all the departments, professors, students and administrative staff around music & education. A warm welcome from the rectors, vice-rectors and deans, artistic moments, as well as guidance for the administrative steps are provided.

Moreover, a tour of the campus, as well as orientation guidance for the main facilities is provided. Students are permanently counseled on the bureaucratical aspects (students’ contracts, access card for practicing rooms, library cards, as well as transport facilities).

For the ERASMUS + students, English buddies are available – students who make the integration process within the academic community as seamless as possible. Meetings in the cafeteria, during classes, strolls around the city, even parties – are just a few of their common activities.

All incoming students are strongly encouraged to ask questions and stay in touch with the ERASMUS + office representatives.

IN.TUNE
Innovative Universities in Music and Arts in Europe

Are you a student of one of the IN.TUNE partner institutions and interested in studying abroad? This is how it works!
When you apply for an Erasmus+ long-term mobility for studies, you can choose between a one-semester or a full academic year abroad at a partner institution. If your application is accepted, you will register at your home institution and pay your student fees only there (if any).

Why embark on an enriching and inspiring journey abroad?
You benefit from classes at another institution, and your credits are recognized upon return, allowing you to move smoothly / seamlessly to the next stage of your academic path.
You discover and enjoy another culture.
You expand your network.
You receive a scholarship to support you during your mobility.

Seamless mobility is the key principle of IN.TUNE partners when it comes to student mobilities. Moreover, if you cannot study abroad for a long-term mobility, don’t worry — we are creating many other mobility activities that you will be able to take part in over the coming months. Stay tuned!

Follow the links to the pages of the IN.TUNE partners below for all the details: necessary application documents, deadlines, and procedures. Don’t forget to contact your own International Relations Coordinator and your department as well – they need to approve your application so that your credits will be recognized once you return.

We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Student Mobilities

Staff Teaching Assignment (STA) and Staff Training Mobility (STT)

Incoming teachers and non-academic staff, who would like to take an Erasmus + mobility at the National University of Music Bucharest, must follow the specific procedure required by the Erasmus offices from their home institution.

We usually require:

  • CV
  • Mobility agreement

Application deadlines: end of April (for the 1st semester) and end of November (for the 2nd semester).

If available funds at home institutions, UNMB is flexible to welcome STA and STT mobilities, after/in between these dates, as well.
