MA Degree – Stylistics in Conducting
Orchestra Conducting Qualification • Choir Conducting Qualification
Can it be that the Conductor is a magician who transforms gestures into music? If this is an idea that inspires you, then we invite you to take the U.N.M.B.’s specialised courses in Stylistics in Conducting, which will provide you with the following benefits:
- training as a conductor in a lab where you will be guided by teachers who are themselves notable conductors;
- practical experience in the small-scale simulator of a classroom with a piano, allowing you to put the final polish to every detail;
- artistic experience in rehearsals with the university’s vocal and orchestral ensembles, where you will discover the special atmosphere of the run-up to a concert performance;
- the ongoing challenge of potentiating your reserves of energy so that you will be able to make yourself listened to, and to transform into sound the mental model of the music you love.
And above all: The encounter with an audience in the magic realm of the concert hall.
