Most of the international exchanges within the National University of Music Bucharest are taking place inside the frame of the ERASMUS + Program. In addition to this, the National University of Music Bucharest is actively taking part in various international projects involving its departments (students & teachers).

National University of Music Bucharest is also a part of the European Network METRIC – Modernizing European Higher Music Education through Improvisation. Joint modules, intensive courses and online sessions are bringing together teachers and students from 15 institutions, around diverse techniques and creative approaches in classical improvisation.

International networks

The National University of Music Bucharest is an active member of the European Association of Conservatoires. More than 280 higher music education institutions are part of the most important network in the music field. Dedicated platforms, working groups and thematic programs, exchange of good practices, as well as annual meetings (IRC’s Meeting and Annual Rectors’ Congress, etc.) are provided.
