MA Degree – Contemporary Musical Education

The M.A. in Contemporary Musical Education provides an up-to-date view of the formative and transformative power of music. Over the course of your studies, you will have the opportunity to work with Orff instruments, to create miniatures and arrangements of your own music, to familiarise yourself with research in interdisciplinary fields, such as music therapy and musical cognition, and to explore the emerging field of musical mediation. You will have the opportunity to expand and deepen your knowledge of musical movements and styles, with many disciplines focusing on the study of choral music. You will be able to sing in a vocal chamber ensemble, and to take part in workshops and conferences. In addition, you will be able to map out important waystations in the management of your career. Thanks to its multiple directions, the M.A. programme lays the groundwork for the best possible integration into the musical job market, with its wide variety of opportunities, allowing each graduate to become a factor for positive change within the community where he or she will work.
