BA Degree – Music (Musical Pedagogy)
The Musical Pedagogy syllabus contains all the necessary ingredients needed in order to provide every aspiring professional musician with thoroughgoing, indispensable training. With the guidance of nationally and internationally recognised specialists, you will embark on a fascinating journey, during which you will accumulate a host of knowledge and skills that will allow you to master the complex field of music, a field that is both a science and an art.
- You will be able to experience the joy of singing with others in one of the university’s choral ensembles and to explore the unique feeling of conveying your intentions through gestures as a conductor.
- You will be able to perfect your ability to understand music, to play musical works, to read and write musical notation, converting sounds into notes on the stave and transforming the instructions in a score into music that will delight an audience.
- You will be able to discover countless musical masterpieces, finding out about the context of their composition and the meanings concealed within the notes.
- You will have the opportunity to perform in the university’s wonderful George Enescu Concert Hall and on the stages of other prestigious institutions, as a member or conductor of vocal or vocal-instrumental ensembles.
