The Student Hall of Residence

The Bucharest National University of Music Student Hall of Residence is located at No. 8, Strada General Berthelot, five hundred metres or a six minutes’ walk away from the university building. Its close proximity to other major musical institutions—the George Enescu Philharmonic, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company, the National Opera—is highly advantageous to students of the UNMB, who enjoy preferential access to the institutions in question.

The Hall of Residence provides accommodation for 209 students in rooms with two, three, four, or six beds. The facility also has eleven study rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a laundry room, a drying room, and a recreation room, which is equipped with computers. The UNMB has special staff to provide around-the-clock building security. The efforts of the administration are focused on creating for all residents the perfect balance between accommodation facilities and the warmth of a space that will play the temporary part of a welcoming host.
