\ud83c\udfdb\ufe0f The National University of Music in Bucharest and REVIVART Association are launching the National Contest of Byzantine Music Performance “Voices of the Lectern”, organized within the cultural project “Hermetic Musical Systems and Hermeneutical Necessities\u201d co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN).<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9 The interpretative competition will take place between September 1st and October 15th and is part of a series of cultural-artistic activities that the National University of Music in Bucharest, the Centre for Nineteenth Century Music Studies and REVIVART Association are organizing in the context of the declaration of 2023 as “Commemorative Year of Church Hymnographers and Chanters in the Romanian Patriarchate”, and on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of printing the first psaltic books in Romanian by Macarie the Hieromonk (1750\/63-1836).<\/p>\n
